INFANTS (6 weeks to 1 year)

At Tree of Life Christian Academy infants are cared for in a safe, secure and nurturing environment with all the latest baby care equipment. With a daily schedule of events from indoor to outdoor activities we assure you that your infant's teacher will encourage your child to develop their hand-eye coordination, as well as fine and gross motor skills. This is all accomplished through play-time by grasping objects, sitting, crawling and eventually walking. Our goal is to provide your infant "a home away from home." Each infant is assigned their very own crib by which you, the parent, get to decorate for your child along with a designated area for pictures of family members, siblings, pets, etc., as visual stimulation will always play a role. At eight weeks the brain of your baby is still making new connections. Stimulation of vision, hearing and tactile is crucial during this period. Our written daily reports keep parents informed of their eating, diaper changing, and sleeping routines as well as any new developments. Our preschool offers infants in the Weston and Davie area a place to learn, develop and grow.
